1. Just the Basics Pedicure: Hot Towel Compress to feet followed by Cuticle work, Filing and Shaping of nails and finished with a fresh polish change with our Spa Ritual Polish.

2. Hot Towel Foot Exfoliation: This popular massage is the ideal addition to any service. We will revive your feet by stretching and compressing them wrapped in hot towels. An exfoliation scrub is applied to stimulate and invigorate followed by an intense hydrating cream used to perform a full foot massage.

   1. 30 Minute Massage Flame: This treatment is the ultimate aromatic treatment and includes a Swedish Massage.  This candle creates a soothing scented massage oil heated by its own flame. Fragrances include your option of Bliss, Citrus, Desire, Ice or Tranquility. Each experience oil is therapeutically infused with beneficial essential oils and luxurious emollients, leaving your skin silky smooth and irresistibly scented.

   2. 30 Minute Poppy Seed Back Scrub: This exfoliating body mousse with sea salt, poppy seed and black pine reveals softer, smoother skin, stimulates circulation and encourages cell regeneration as it detoxifies and tones. Your back treatment includes a double cleanse followed by the Poppy Seed Scrub and extractions if needed! Finished with a treatment massage oil.

4. 30 Minute Urban Express Facial: This customized no fluff facial is specifically designed to help freshen your appearance, revive your skin and is the perfect introduction for those that are new to facials

5. Blo-out: We start the service with a deep cleansing and nourishing shampoo and conditioner. You are then seated in our Hair Design chair to have your hair customized.

6. Make up Application: You will look perfect for an amazing night out. We will customize a makeup application just for you! Bring photos and ideas of what you’d like for your appointment.

7. Share Food Plate with Mimosa: We will prepare a gorgeous plate of food for you to share along with everyone’s favourite indulgence… no not chocolate, mimosa!

Option #2 -> Pampered Polar Bear Experience

1. Polar Plunge Seasonal Manicure: Beginning with our Glacier Smoothie Foot Fizz that will provide your feet with a tingling sensation to begin your relaxation, we then continue with a Serious Silt Scrub, also by Glacier Smoothie! This rich glacier silt infused formula is designed to smooth all skin types and leave your feet feeling smooth and fresh! We will file and shape your nails as desired, as well as repair and re-hydrate your cuticles. The experience will proceed with a leg and foot massage that combines hot stones and our Glacier Smoothie Cream, concluding with a Spa Ritual polish application.

2. Polar Plunge Seasonal Pedicure: Beginning with a hot towel compress to get you warmed up, we will then exfoliate your hands with a Serious Silt Scrub by Glacier Smoothie. The scrub will be removed with hot towels and leave your hands feeling smooth and refreshed. We will continue by shaping your nails, repair and re-hydrating your cuticles. You will then have the choice of over 80 Artistic Colour Gloss polishes for your nails. The experience will conclude with a hand and arm massage that combines hot stones and our Glacier Smoothie Cream.

Once again, we we’re blown away with the response of the community. Peterborough you rock!

On July 23rd we hosted Urban Spa 2.0 Launch Party where we opened our doors to the public with amazing food from Hobarts Steakhouse, a live band, a red carpet reveal (see pics), demonstration services and swag bags which were all the rage.

We had over 200 guests come from all over the city. At one point, we had a line up 75 people deep waiting to get in. The live band was a huge hit playing amazing music. The food was also delicious. Hobarts steakhouse crafted a special menu just for our launch party and they nailed it!

A special thank you must be awarded to everyone who contributed to this great party. All of the team at The Urban Spa put their hearts into this event and we thank you. Our expert product consultants that were on site helping hundreds of clients, thank you. Shea Bailey, the band, and Hobarts Steakhouse thank you!

With this expansion, The Urban Spa is still the beloved European Inspired Boutique Spa (first floor) but now we also have The Urban Spa 2.0 (the second and third level of the building). Red Carpet Entrance

For the last two years we have been Peterborough’s fastest growing spa and we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished. This night was about giving back and moving forward. It was absolutely awesome to see everyone come out in full force. Thank you Peterborough and thank you to all of our clients who helped make this evening so special for all of us.
