One of the reasons we won this award is our amazing team. We’ve been VERY picky as to who works at The Urban Spa. We’ve been at this now for three years plus and the community has noticed because we’ve grown from a new concept to Peterborough’s fastest growing spa, to award winning very quickly.
Well, we are growing again and we’re actively seeking team members (Click here for a list). There are many people who work in the spa industry and they like to ‘dabble’. For them it’s a “job”. If that’s the case, don’t come to The Urban Spa, you won’t be happy here.

Urban Spa in Peterborough, Ontario has a well earned reputation for providing premium quality health and beauty services, with enthusiasm to their very happy clients from all across Ontario. A great part of their ongoing success, in the opinion of many people, has been their very progressive approach and attitude towards technology as a way to connect with both new and old clients alike. with the spa and book reservations with a click. Urban Spa has also recently became the only Peterborough spa to accept payment through Apple Pay. Of course, the spa’s website allows 24/7 bookings without worry of schedule issues.
Customers continue to praise the spa across the board.

Earlier this spring, The Urban Spa decided to commit itself to supporting the cure for kids cancer. The Great Cycle Challenge has been a huge hit and now The Urban Speedsters (that’s the name of our team) is in 7th place in our category and 29th place for money raised (so far we’ve raised over $2,109.95!). The Urban Spa recently sponsored The Little Mermaid performed by the drama students Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School. The show was directed and produced by Sarah Tye who did a marvellous job. The show was incredibly well choreographed and the performances delivered an inspiring experience. The set design and costume design were also very on point which brought the whole experience together.
The Urban Spa was proud to be the “Triton” sponsor and we look forward to helping out more and more community initiatives. Bravo to Sarah Tye, all of the performers, the production and the technical teams.
