When Is The Best Time To Start Waxing?

Did you know Autumn/Winter is the best time to start you waxing regimen? If you start your waxing (facial, legs, bikini and Brazilian!) now by the time summer rolls around again your hair will be at a minimum and you may only need one waxing during the summer months!

Best way to make this work? Stick to you schedule. Even a week late on your waxing can throw everything off!

Use It Or Lose It!

It’s that time of the year again, you know, when things start to get a little more hectic. The demands of winter are quickly approaching as we can already see Christmas lights being hung around the city. Nights are getting colder, trees are almost completely bare which can only mean one thing…snow is just around the corner!

Don’t seem so upset, you know it’s coming, which is why we want to help you out!

There are only about 7 weeks left in the year, which also means that lump sum of massage benefits will soon be lost forever. Every year some clients (not you of course 🙂 wait until the last minute to book their appointments and by that time we’re sold out. At The Urban Spa in Peterborough we have both male and female therapist with a wide range of hours which is convenient. That being said, the hours book up very fast so BOOK NOW before we are SOLD OUT!

We highly recommend booking appointments ahead of time as our RMT’s are on high demand and are already booking into the New Year. This is easy enough to do using our Live 24/7 ONLINE Booking System or also now through Facebook.

Don’t let the aches and pains of the holidays take a toll on your body. So before you get caught up in last minute gifts, full family get-togethers, awkward work parties, or having to dig your car out of four feet of fluffy white snow in the wee hours of the morning maybe it’s a good idea to plan some time to take some time away for you.

The Urban Spa is excited and proud to announce it will be supporting the PRHC Foundation and its Dancing With The Docs event in late November.

“The Urban Spa Peterborough’s donation was so well received at the annual golf tournament that The Urban Spa wanted to forge an official alliance and keep working together. Dancing With The Docs is the next step but you will see the PRHC Foundation and The Urban Spa working together a lot in the coming months and years” says Kerri Holley

Dancing with the Docs: Ballroom Blitz is back by popular demand! Join the fun and be there as six of PRHC’s physicians and their dance partners brave the stage in a gala fundraising dance competition and compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy and People’s Choice Award. The evening also includes a buffet dinner, an outstanding silent & live auction, and the chance to support the purchase of essential equipment for your hospital. Proceeds will support the PRHC Foundation’s Everyday Essentials campaign and the purchase of two new pathologists’ microscopes for the laboratory. Find out more here…

It will not chip or smudge and with proper care (regular use of cuticle oil and moisturizer) your manicure can last 2-3 weeks and your pedicure up to 6 weeks!
