The Urban Spa is excited to announce that we have a new service that will be added to our menu very soon: The Indie Head Massage.
First of all, can we all just take a moment to appreciate how just saying the words “Indie Head Massage” already has us feeling relaxed? But this is so much more than simply an indulgent treat.
The Indie Head Massage is a form of massage therapy based on the ancient healing system of Ayurveda which focuses on the muscles and connective tissues of the face, neck, scalp, upper back and shoulder area. This 45 minute service can be used to treat most issues of the head, neck and shoulders, including headaches, TMJ pain, tension and trigger points.
In addition to the above benefits, the oil blend used on the hair and scalp is very nourishing and moisturizing and actually acts as a secondary treatment to condition your hair.
