Goal setting is critical for everyone. If you set goals, it gives you purpose. Goals give you something to wake up for and also give you a reason to push yourself outside of your comfort zone.
There are many different kinds of goal setting systems like SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Oriented. There are BHAG: Big Hairy Audacious Goals.
