It was December 22, 2013 when we asked The Urban Spa’s team if they would like smaller more frequent staff gatherings or one big extravaganza at the end of the year. After a short deliberation they decided as a group they would prefer on a massive party.
Over the following few weeks we set some big goals and set rewards based on how close we get to our goals!
Amazingly, and for those of you that know our great team, not so surprisingly we had an outstanding year in 2014 so we’re closing the spa for a three day bonanza to celebrate.
The spa will be closed from Jan 17, 2015 to Jan 19 reopening on Jan 20, 2015 for normal business hours (online booking works 24/7).
The team has NO IDEA what we’re doing (and we can’t spill the beans quite yet because they will read this post) but we’ll report back with pictures and stories afterwards… it’s going to be so much fun!

- We’ve used over 712 litres of water for pedicures
- We’ve waxed 565,287 eye brow hairs (approximately)
- Clients have purchased and we’ve used over 58 litres of cleanser, toner & lotions in our awesome facials
