We know that men and women have different needs or areas of concern when they come to us for services, so we have created a custom “Manu” for our male guests to pick from. These services are geared to enhance your experience with us, and allow us to customize your treatment based on your goals.

As an added perk, if you don’t feel like socializing with those around you during your services, just let us know when you book your appointment, and we will move you to your own private room instead – like a VIP experience. We do need to arrange this in advance though so don’t forget to let us know.

Great if you currently take care of your feet, or if you are between appointments. We start with a hot towel compress to your feet, and then focus on keeping your cuticles and your nails their proper length. Finishing it off with a hydrating lotion application to your feet. Please note there is no foot soak or callous removal during this pedicure.  Polish not included with this Pedicure

If you can hear your heels scratching the bed sheets, or you are putting holes through your socks, this is the best option for you to choose. We will start with the foot soak to soften your feet then remove that unwanted callous with a foot file (yours to take home – as we’re sure you will want to maintain your new feet!) We will have your feet and nails feeling healthy as we address your dry cuticles, and shape your nails to a less damaging length. To the average joe, facials can be thought of as an extravagance better suited to ladies, but that kind of thinking is antiquated. Maybe facials used to be spa-only but these days, a facial is more accurately thought of as standard maintenance for men. Think of them like haircuts: you trust a professional to cut your hair, why don’t you do the same for your face?

At The Urban Spa we recommend a face treatment every change of season and for us in Peterborough, that means every three months. Can you do more often, ABSOLUTELY! But for best results, every three months minimum is recommended.
